AquaTryp™ is our ready-to-use gentle enzymatic cell detachment reagent. A non-mammalian, non-microbial enzyme mixture, AquaTryp™, can be readily incorporated into most routine cell culture protocols. With predominantly trypsin enzymatic activity, AquaTryp’s enzyme profile makes it an excellent alternative to mammalian and microbial trypsin for most applications.
Pancreatic Enzymes
Pancreatic Enzymes for Food, Nutraceuticals, and Pharmaceuticals
Neova Technologies Inc., a Bioseutica Group company, specializes in producing enzymes extracted from government-certified pork pancreas glands. These pancreatic enzymes, naturally occurring proteins, are essential for food digestion. The enzyme preparation includes two main enzymes, trypsin and chymotrypsin, blended with an approved excipient to meet various functional requirements. Neova Technologies also offers phospholipase A2 (PA2). As one of the world's largest manufacturers of porcine-derived enzymes, Neova Technologies has been a leader in the pancreatic enzyme market for over twenty-five years, supplying products for food, technical, nutraceutical, and pharmaceutical sectors.
Trypsin and Chymotrypsin are serine proteases with specific cleaving characteristics. Trypsin hydrolyzes bonds with carboxyl groups from lysine (Lys) or arginine (Arg), while Chymotrypsin hydrolyzes peptide bonds involving phenylalanine (Phe), tyrosine (Tyr), and tryptophan (Try). Phospholipase A2 (PA2) is a standardized product that cleaves the fatty acid in the second position of phospholipids. These pancreatic enzymes effectively hydrolyze various proteins and lipids, mimicking the natural human digestive process.
Neova Technologies' enzyme preparations are widely used in:
